Services

From assessment to production — one connected journey

Not four disconnected offerings. Each step feeds the next: the assessment scopes the modernization, the PoC de-risks the build, and the workshops hand your team the keys. Fixed scope at every step, and AI acceleration under architect governance — AI proposes, architect disposes.

Step 1

AI-Accelerated Migration Assessment

Azure Migrate's agentic AI and modern discovery tooling inventory your environment, map dependencies, and size the move — in 2–3 weeks, not the months a manual assessment takes. Every workload is classified against the 6 Rs, and every estimate carries a FinOps cost baseline, so you see the run-rate before you commit to it.

You getA prioritized migration roadmap with per-workload 6 R decisions, costs, risks, and a wave plan.
Step 2

AI-Assisted Modernization & FinOps

Each workload takes the right path — rehost what should move as-is, replatform or refactor what needs light surgery, rearchitect or rebuild what's worth it, replace what isn't. AI-assisted code analysis and automated testing compress the work; a senior architect reviews and approves every change. FinOps is built in: right-sizing, reserved capacity, and cost guardrails from day one.

Step 3

Azure AI Proof of Concept

A 2–4 week pilot that proves out an Azure OpenAI, Copilot, or AI workflow idea in your own tenant, on your own data — scoped tight, priced fixed, and judged against success criteria agreed up front. No slideware: a working system your stakeholders can touch.

You getA working pilot plus a clear go / no-go recommendation with production costs.
Step 4

Workshops & Training

Hands-on "AI-Accelerated Migration" workshops run inside your own Azure tenant, on your real workloads — including the FinOps habits that keep the bill down after we leave. Your team learns by doing the actual work. Knowledge transfer is the product, not an afterthought.

You getA team that can run, extend, optimize, and teach what was built.

Senior architect on every engagement

100% senior-led. The person who scopes your work does your work.

AI proposes, architect disposes

AI-assisted delivery under human governance — every AI change is reviewed, tested, and approved.

FinOps from day one

Cost baselines, right-sizing, and guardrails built into the migration — not an audit after the bill lands.

Fixed scope, fixed timeline

Weeks, not months — priced and scheduled up front, in writing.

Why Ace

The architect you'd hire, without the big-firm bench

Ace Cloud Guru is led by Ace McClinton — 20+ years in infrastructure and cloud leadership, including three years as an Azure Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft, helping enterprises plan and land Azure migrations.

When you engage Ace Cloud Guru, the person who scopes the work is the person who does the work. No hand-offs, no junior bench, no account-management layer — and no surprise cloud bill at the end, because FinOps is part of the delivery, not a separate upsell.

From on-premises data centers to enterprise Azure estates — the full journey your team is on now, led from both the vendor and the enterprise side.

  • MS

Three years inside Microsoft's field organization, shaping Azure adoption for enterprise customers — the same landing zones, governance, and migration patterns your project will use.

  • SAP

    Enterprise migrations, delivered

Led enterprise-scale Azure migrations, including SAP HANA to Azure — the workloads where downtime windows are measured in hours and the plan has to be right the first time.

  • $

Costs engineered down, not just tracked

FinOps discipline on every engagement: right-sized resources, reserved capacity where it pays, and waste cut before it bills. Cloud cost is the #1 concern we hear — so it's the first number in every plan.

Ace Cloud Guru is an Azure-only consultancy that helps companies migrate to Microsoft Azure, modernize legacy applications, and build the in-house skills to thrive there. Engagements are 100% senior-led and accelerated with AI tooling — Azure Migrate's agentic AI, AI-assisted code analysis, and automated testing — so assessments that once took months land in weeks. AI proposes; the architect disposes.

Every workload follows the 6 Rs framework — rehost, replatform, refactor, rearchitect, rebuild, or replace — and every plan carries a FinOps cost baseline, because controlling cloud spend is the first concern clients bring through the door. Services run as one journey from assessment to production: migration assessments, application modernization, Azure AI proofs of concept, and hands-on workshops in the client's own tenant.

Founded and led by Ace McClinton, a former Microsoft Azure Cloud Solution Architect (2019–2022) and Microsoft Certified Trainer with 20+ years in infrastructure and cloud leadership, including enterprise migrations such as SAP HANA to Azure.
